GLOSSARY

alpha rhythm:  The normal electrical activity of the brain when conscious and relaxed consisting of oscillations (alpha waves) with a frequency of 7 to 14 hertz.  A creative rhythm that allows multi-sensory faculties to function.

Ascended Masters: They are believed to be spiritually enlightened beings who in past incarnations were ordinary humans, but who while in body have undergone a process of spiritual transformation. They are able to master external forces to operate in the world and not of the world, and at the end of a physical embodiment ascend to become an Ascended Master or Lady Master.  Normally they have no need to return to another physical embodiment as they have mastered the earthly experience: however, in certain instances, out of their devotion to humanity, they return to Earth to service and assist others in their quest for enlightenment.

beta rhythm: The normal electrical activity of the brain when conscious and alert, consisting of oscillations (beta waves) with a frequency of 15 to 25 hertz.

The chakra: The energy centres of spiritual power in the human body, usually considered to be seven in number.

channel: A person who is used as a medium - a means of communication - for those in other dimensions, to interact with those in this dimension.

chant: Repetition of a verse or word/words to establish a particular vibrational frequency in order to invoke higher levels of spirituality.

chela: An initiate seeking enlightenment under the guidance of a master or other such teacher who instills disciplines to assist the chela forward.

consciousness: The quality or state of being aware especially of something within oneself. The state or fact of being conscious of an external object, state, or fact.  Connectedness.

dimensions: Various levels of reality that exist beyond the 3rd dimension of earth.

ego: A component of the human function that encourages expression - which at times may be detrimental - in other instances necessary for interaction with others.

evolution: The advancement from one form of human species to another.

extraterrestrial:  One, who is not of the human species; of or from, outside the earth or its atmosphere.

faculty:  An aptitude or talent for doing something.  An extra faculty – of a multi-sensory function.

frequency:  The rate at which a vibration occurs that constitutes a wave, either in a material (as in sound waves), or in an electromagnetic field (as in radio waves and light), usually measured per second. (Symbol: f or v )

God:  A male and female source of energy that cannot be contained in a body – its greatness is such that it is able to encompass all.  A divine, everlasting energy that creates and powers the life force of animal, plant, human species – infinite components.

illuminate:  v.  Enlighten (someone) spiritually or intellectually.  N.  A supreme intelligence, vibrating love – emanating into all life.

infusion:  An added element to assist in the process of human evolution to achieve higher consciousness with speed.

intuition:  The ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning:  a thing that one knows of considers likely from instinctive feeling rather than conscious reasoning.

Jesus:  He overcame the world of duality to become an expression of the  highest spiritual factor possible while still remaining in a physical body, and receiving the rewards of infinite communication within multi-dimensional realities.  A highly evolved soul who chose to embody as a human.

Kabala:  The ancient Jewish tradition of mystical interpretation of the original Hebrew Bible, the Tanakh.  First transmitted orally and using esoteric methods (including ciphers).
     The Tree of Life gives assistance in Pathworking – exercises connected to the Kabala for the  purposes of reaching higher understanding of our being.

Lemuria:  Lemuria was an ancient civilization which existed prior to and during the time of Atlantis.  Physically it is believed that Lemuria existed largely in the Southern Pacific, between North and South America and Asia/Australia.  Lemuria is also sometimes referred to as Mu, or the Motherland (of Mu).

meditate/meditation:  An altered state of consciousness that allows the engagement of higher levels of consciousness to still the mind for inner peace.
     An altered state of consciousness to communicate as a multi-sensory being.  To engage in mental exercise (as conception of one’s breathing or repetition of a mantra) for the purpose of reaching a heightened level of spiritual awareness.

medium:  A person claiming to be in contact with the spirits of the dead and to communicate between the dead and the living.  One who communicates specific messages to others.

mind:  Awareness of our consciousness.  The component of a person that enables them to be aware of the world and their experiences, to think, and to feel; the faculty of consciousness and thought.

multi-dimensional:  Various levels of reality that exist in addition to the third dimension of the earthly realm – infinite in existence.  Of or involving several dimensions or aspects.

multi-sensory:  Functioning with the extended (non-physical) sensing faculties.  It involves subjective perception and mental impressions pertaining to the senses: sight, sound, taste, smell, and texture.

objective:  Contrasted with subjective The physical dimension of reality – as perceived by the five physical senses.

Pleiades:  A well-known open cluster of stars in the constellation Taurus.  Six (or more) stars are visible to the naked eye but there are actually some five hundred in the cluster, formed very recently in stellar terms.  Also called Seven Sisters.
     The home of Pleiadeans who for many thousands of years have assisted Earth’s evolution and communicated at various times with those who are able to receive them.

portal:  A doorway or opening into another dimension.

psychic:  Relating to or denoting faculties or phenomena that are apparently inexplicable by natural laws, esp. involving telepathy or clairvoyance: psychic powers.
     A faculty of a multi-sensory being.  One who is able to experience the phenomena of telepathy, clairvoyance, and precognition.

quantum jump:  A shift from one level of reality into another, a transformation that accommodates a shift in consciousness.  Also called quantum leap.

shaman:  One who operates with multi-sensory faculties for the purposes of giving assistance to others of realities beyond the earthly existence.

Sirius:  Home to the Masters of Sirius – illuminated beings with superior intelligence – many who have never been in physical embodiment.  A star system of superior energy operating as part of a collective unit responsible for the evolutionary process on earth.
     The brightest star in the sky, south of the celestial equator in the constellation Canis Major.  It is a binary star with a dim companion, which is a white dwarf.  Also called the Dog Star.

soul:  An eternal source of energy that guides the earthly experience of a human being.  The spiritual or immaterial part of a human being or animal.

spiritual:  An expression of one’s advancement to overcome the physical boundaries of human existence – expression without duality.

subjective:  Contrasted with objective.  As perceived by the extended sensing faculties.  A non-physical level of reality used for the purposes of creation, visualization, etc.

telepathy:  Using the mind to transfer thoughts, feelings and emotions.  The communication of thoughts or ideas by means other than the known senses.

The Great White Brotherhood:  A spiritual body of devotees, led by a Brotherhood who exist in other dimensions of reality.  Through their devotion and love, they are able to teach, lead, and guide humanity to express and attain heightened levels of spirituality.
     In some Theosophical and New Age belief systems, a group of supernatural beings of great power who spread the true religious teachings through selected humans.  The members of the Brotherhood are sometimes called the Ascended Masters.  Various religious leaders have said they have received messages from these beings, including Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, Guy Ballard, and Benjamin Crème.

transition:  A period/process of change – to transform from one reality to another.

vibration:  A frequency emitted as evidence of one’s state of being.  These can be positive or negative vibrations.
1.  Frequency range in which something is expressing.  2.  Hermetic principle:  All is vibrating, in movement, some slower, to be known as matter; some faster, so as to be invisible.

The eye of Horus, among other things, is a symbol of Sirius, home of the Masters of Sirius.
